Due to on-going growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Stormwater-focused Civil Engineer to join our Southern Water team in Christchurch. Working in a well-respected team of stormwater and water resources specialists, your work will range from catchment planning and options assessment, to detailed design and construction management. Our clients span Canterbury and around New Zealand, across the local government, transportation, industrial, commercial, and agricultural sectors.

You are a senior-level civil engineer with 7+ years of experience and technical expertise in hydrology, pipe and open channel hydraulics, catchment planning, water quality treatment, and flood risk assessment. You will demonstrate accountability for your work, collaborate effectively as part of a team, and cultivate strong client relationships by understanding their needs, fostering trust, and consistently delivering high-quality outcomes. Project management and site experience are a plus.
