**Job Title: Truck Driver**
**Location: Our business is primarily based in Auckland from where you will be required to deliver the goods to different locations of North Island**
**Number of positions for this job: 02**
**Employment type: Permanent Full-Time**
**Minimum guaranteed hours of work Per week: 35**
**Days Required: Monday to Sunday (flexible hours)**
**Hourly rate: Between $30-$32 per hour**

We are currently looking for Truck Drivers to join our friendly team. You must be committed, reliable and have a Current Truck Driving license. You will also be provided pre-paid accommodation and food allowance if and when required for overnight stay. Reliability and right attitude are key to succeeding in this role. You should be hard working, energetic and willing to go the extra mile to achieve results for our customers.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

- Loading and Unloading
- Hand unloading when required
- Transporting and delivering goods in a safe, timely manner
- Ensuring goods are strapped down correctly and removed safely
- Confirm that the contents of each load match the manifest document
- Plan routes and ensure timely transport and delivery
- Communicate with dispatch as needed
- Notify of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
- Inspecting goods for damage and complete incident reports for the manager
- Log Books to be completed accurately & submitted timely
- Pre-checks of vehicle before each trip - including oil, water, fuel, air pressure levels are in line with road safety and vehicle safety standards
- Ensure truck and trailer are kept clean and tidy and carry out minor maintenance
- Follow correct safety procedures
- Comply with all traffic laws at all times
- Current Truck Driving License
- Must be available to work for night shift
- Flexible Work Availability as there will be early morning start, and you may be required to work during weekends, public holidays. You may also be required to stay overnight if and when required
- Must have reversing skills as well as complete understanding of road ranger gearbox
- Knowledge of strapping and securing the load
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety & Logbook requirements
- Willingness to follow standard operating procedures
- Work in conditions that may be stressful, including poor weather and Heavy Traffic
- Mechanically minded would be an advantage
- Have a positive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong results-focused work ethic
- Time management skills and ability to work unsupervised
- Strong Health & Safety focus & adherence to all H&S procedures
- Willingness to follow standard operating procedures
- Committed and reliable
- Pass the drug test
- No criminal records
