**In this role, you'll be at the forefront of**:

- Ensuring our 3 Waters infrastructure exceeds industry standards from design to execution.
- Leading the verification of designs and drawings, ensuring they meet and surpass required standards.
- Collaborating with asset managers, project managers, and external contractors to achieve outstanding outcomes.
- Overseeing resource planning and management to maintain top-tier quality assurance.
- Mentoring and developing our design team, building a culture of excellence and high performance.

**What you’ll bring to the team**:

- A tertiary qualification in civil engineering.
- Over 15 years of high-level engineering, design, and review experience in three waters.
- A proven track record of mentoring and training design teams in best practices.
- Deep knowledge of local authority infrastructure engineering, design, and lifecycle management.
- A team-oriented mindset with highly developed communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring others.
- A consultative, flexible, and innovative approach to leadership and problem-solving.
