- **Key Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership and direction to the Customer Service Ambassador team, ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality customer service
- Support the Duty Manager - Operations Delivery during incidents and disruptions, ensuring adherence to operating procedures, contingency plans, safety management plans, and stakeholder timeframes
- Coordinate alternative transport arrangements on Platform 10 and ensure effective queue and customer‑flow management during service disruptions
- Implement operational improvements and support the introduction of new technology and procedures
- Ensure kiosk operations comply with revenue protection, banking, and audit requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop staff to foster a high‑performance, high‑engagement culture
- Uphold and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSH, Rail Safety, and relevant legislative requirements
- **About You**
- You will bring a strong operational background, ideally within the transport or infrastructure sector, along with proven experience leading frontline teams in dynamic environments. You will be confident in managing incidents, making timely decisions, and guiding staff through complex
- operational scenarios.
- You will also demonstrate:

- Knowledge of rail operations, safe working systems, or similar operational frameworks
- Experience managing disruptions and supporting service recovery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑centric approach
- High levels of organisation, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sound written communication skills
- A full, current driver’s licence
