**About us**:
Here at Pinnacle, we use the best of the cloud to support amazing healthcare across the Midland region. We manage large amounts of healthcare data and want to take advantage of the latest technologies to get maximum value from it - all with the goal of improving the health and wellbeing of our population. Pinnacle’s office is based in Hamilton, and while working from home is something we frequently do, being able to physically come into the office regularly for collaboration is a requirement for the position.

We need **curious**, **motivated** and **self-sufficient** people who can make a difference.

**About the role**:
As a Junior Data Engineer you would be an important part of a small team - helping us to build new data pipelines, implement APIs, and bringing your own ideas about how to use our data. You will need to be a confident coder (preferably with Python) and, ideally, familiar with data management principles and AWS.

Whether you have recently graduated from university, been working professionally for a few years, or just code because you enjoy it, it doesn’t matter to us. Just show us what you can do, and we could kickstart your career as a Data Engineer.

**About you**:
You should be able to demonstrate that you have:

- Confidence with Python (or another programming language) and SQL
- A track record of coding and contributing to projects (whether as a hobby or part of an academic programme)
- Understanding of data management principles
- The capacity and drive to keep learning
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services
- Great ideas for how we can use data
- A positive customer service ethos

Bonus points for:

- Familiarity with the health sector
- Any front-end skills
