**Job Description: Social Media / Digital Marketing Internship**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Content Creation**: Assist in creating engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

**Social Media Management**: Support in managing and scheduling social media posts, monitoring platforms for engagement, and responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.

**Community Engagement**: Interact with our online community by liking, commenting, and sharing relevant content to increase brand visibility and foster engagement.

**Research and Analysis**: Research industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to optimize content strategy and identify growth opportunities.

**Campaign Support**: Collaborate with the marketing team to assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.

**Reporting**: Track and analyse key performance metrics using social media analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

**Stay Updated**: Stay informed about emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to suggest innovative ideas and strategies.

**Qualifications**:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in using social media platforms and scheduling tools.

Knowledge of graphic design and photo/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a must.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Creative thinking and willingness to contribute new ideas.

Previous experience with social media management and content creation or digital marketing is preferred but not required.

**Duration and Compensation**:
This is a 5-month internship position, between 15 to 20 hours a week, based in Ellerslie, Auckland, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. The internship is paid and may offer academic credit if applicable. Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate academic commitments.
