Our
**_Christchurch Central Laundry Facility, located in Addington, Christchurch_**, are searching for a Laundry Assistant/Driver to join our team.

This is a combined role that we have in our laundry facility. You must be able to drive our EV van to do pickup and delivery to our care facilities in Christchurch. This is a permanent part
- time role, working minimum 30 hours per week.

We are looking for a morning person because you will be working between 0530 am to 0200 pm depending on the needs during the day.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Ensure the smooth and efficient laundering, sorting of linen and the care home residents personal clothing.
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Collaborate and support your colleagues

**About you**
- Previous laundry experience is preferred, however not essential as we will provide comprehensive training
- Full NZ Driver's License and must be confident to drive a van.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, strong empathy and a passion for making a difference to our residents’ lives
- You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done
