Laundry Worker

Every day, in every way, we bring real heart to work. It’s what drives us to deliver our refreshingly different person-first commitment to care. We are seeking a Laundry Assistant to join Christchurch Laundry Facility located in Addington, Chrictchurch.

This is permanent part time role, working between 0600 am to 0200 pm every Sunday to Wednesday.

We are also looking for a driver in the laundry facility. We can offer both roles for the right person. The hours of work for driver is between 530 am to 1130 am every Wednesday and Thursday.

**Where you will make an impact**
- Ensuring all care is taken with the residents' personal clothing and returned to owners.
- Operating all laundry equipment as specified.
- Meeting of daily schedule to keep laundry up to date and advising Manager of any issues that impact on the maintenance of this.
- Maintaining clean/dirty delineation areas within the laundry.
- Monitoring of linen supplies and advising line manager of replacement needs.
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.

**What about you**
- Previous experience working in a commercial laundry is preferred, however not essential as we will provide training.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, strong empathy, and a passion for making a difference to our residents’ lives.
- You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
- Have reliable transport or travel arrangements.
