We're looking for an experienced Data Developer to join a high-performing team developing, improving and maintaining a high-quality data warehouse.

**About the opportunity**
As the Data Developer, you are responsible for supporting stakeholders to use data for insights and effective decision-making. You enable the organisation to have information readily available through leading the creation of an authoritative, single source of truth, that's capable of amalgamating data holdings across the organisation and external sources.
This position is an organisational thought leader for data warehousing with sole responsibility for data associated with delivering a critical and large scale organisational programme.
**About you**
To excel in this role, you are someone who has a passion for supporting projects delivering significant benefits and life-changing positive impacts for people. You also love understanding, organising and managing complex data and are comfortable working across teams to curate business critical data assets.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
- A post graduate qualification in information management, data management/science or analytics (or similar)(desirable), plus 5 years’ experience (essential).
- Excellent knowledge of standard good practice data management and processing practices, processes and mechanisms.
- Knowledgeable about data and analytics concepts and principles.
- Strong knowledge of information structures and metadata schemas.
- A highly-developed sense of the requirements of good governance and the need to adhere to sound processes.
- Knowledgeable user of SQL, management studio, SSRS, SSIS, (or similar) and Source Control.
- Exposure to Power BI and R (or similar).
- Ability to turn raw data into trusted data.
- Research, analysis and judgement to develop appropriate recommendations.
- Communicate, collaborate and support staff from all levels of the organisation.
