**Data Analyst/Scientist/Engineer, Digital Consultant (Wellington)**

Join Beca's Digital Services team helping to support ongoing growth, working with our clients to solve real-world, complex, and unique problems to make every day better. You will be joining a team working with clients to deliver multidiscipline and digitally enabled solutions. We are undertaking significant projects with government agencies, local councils, multinational and local companies, delivering unique solutions from developing digital twin software products, geospatial solutions, AI tools, though to building management solutions.

You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects, being seen as the data expert, with input into conversations on how our clients can improve their capture, management, interpretation, and analysis and presentation of data to aid in the management of their assets and businesses. You will be providing insight and knowledge across data analysis, integration of datasets, data management, and presentation, delivering useable insights to end users. You will have scope to innovate and be creative with solutions, including designing dashboards, guiding the development of our digital products and working with clients to understand what insights will truly improve their operations. All while continuing to develop your technical, consulting and project skills. Given the wide variety of work we have, you will have the opportunity to shape the role, however it could involve:

- Working with internal and external clients to design and implement dashboards using BI and visualization tools.
- Programming using SQL, Python or R to automate data management or data analysis.
- Statistical analysis, machine learning or data science to find business insights.
- Use of Azure cloud services for data management and analysis e.g., Data Factory, Synapse.

You will be passionate about data and its potential value. You will also be able to work with internal and external clients to understand their requirements and the problems they are looking to solve. You will be curious, solution focused, can question, yet equally be able to work with others to solve technology and project delivery problems.

You may have a background or qualifications in computer science, statistical analysis, data management, economics, finance, government, consulting, engineering, software, or another field. More importantly, you will have demonstrated work experience across the integration and analysis of complex datasets and the development of visualization tools (such as Power BI).

You will be a problem solver who wants to work on a variety of projects using a range of technologies. You will be outcome focused and thrive on variety where no two days are the same.
