**Kiwi Telecommunications Ltd has been in business since 2010 operating in Auckland and Wellington.**

**The company is contracted to undertake the installation of the Ultrafast Broadband Network in both commercial and residential areas.**

**The company is growing under a heavy workload and demand for residential installations particularly since the fire to the node connections have increased their pace over the past few years. The company provides a range of networking services including fibre and copper installations and maintenance and troubleshooting across different telecommunication carriers.**

**Experienceand skills as outlined below.**

**Key responsibilities and job description**:
**- Preparing a site plan and associated scoping documents for network cabling installation -Installing and configuring new devices and equipment such as Wi-Fi networking devices -Network cabling installation**
- **Fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues**:

- **Installing routers, switches, ADSL, VDSL modems and configurations**:

- **Working at present sites or newly developed sites**:

- **Network maintenance**:

- **Call logs and required documentation**:

- **Discuss site plans with clients with specific regard to modem location and satisfactorypresentation of cabling i.e. undergrounding where possible**:

- **Providing technical information and advice to clients**:

- **Daily liaison with Chorus team members and occasionally working with other contractors and vendors (such as Vector) to fulfil technical requirements**:

- **Installing software, operating systems or related programmes when required in computersystems**

**To be considered for this role you must have**:

- **At least 1 years previous experience in a similar role**:

- **This role requires an excellent understanding of networking.**:

- **a clean full class 1 drivers licence**:

- **no criminal records**:

- **the ability to work as a team member as**:

- **well as independently great communication skills as our business depends on our ability to please our clients**

**- work flexibility to travel anywhere within the Auckland area to the clients site -strong understanding of computers, networking devices and peripherals and how they come together to provide wireless connectivity**
- **a good level of physical fitness and be enthusiastic about learning new technical skills.**:

- **Drug testing may be required.**
