K K Neel Limited in Waikato region, is looking for 2 store assistants to join our team. We are looking for someone who will undertake following duties:
- Ability to supervise the daily operations of store.
- Follow and enforce store policies, security measures and customer service standards.
- Provide excellent customer services.
- Develop positive shopping experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sell the supermarket products to the customers and accept payments.
- Manage product storage and rotation activities to reduce spoilages and damages.
- Ensure that grocery shelves are maintained clean and organized.
- Ensure that shelves are loaded with products all the time.
- Ensure that all products are properly tagged and labelled.
- Setup product displays in store entrance and other sections according to merchandising standards.
- Assist in advertising or pricing of the promotions.
- Maintain the store clean, safe, and appealing.
- Follow health and safety measures.

Requirements/job specifications:

- Similar work experience or basic qualifications preferred however training will be provided.
- Should have sound knowledge in groceries.
- Ability to work in the weekend and public holidays on a rotational basis is must.
- Heavy lifting involved, so you must be physically fit.
- Must have clean criminal record and clean pre-employment drug test.
- The payrate will depend on experience but will vary from $29.70 to $30 an hour.
- The minimum hours of work will be 30; maximum hours up to 40 as per mutual agreement.
- Any overtime worked will be paid as per the base payrate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $29.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
