FIS is managing a key transformation program for a major banking client and we are seeking a Program Director to lead this strategically significant program. As the Program Director you will be client-facing representing and acting as a single point of contact for the program. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the interests of the client organisation whilst ensuring these are aligned to the objectives of the line of business owning the client deal.
You will also provide the leadership for the program team and act as the integration point between the program and the delivery partners across the FIS organisation.
**What You Will Be Doing**:
This is a senior leadership role and will see you take responsibility to ensure that desired programme outcomes and objectives are delivered. Other specific responsibilities in this role include:
- Ensuring an appropriate program or project management framework is in place aligned to FIS MBP Standards
- Securing resources and expertise from the client organisation as required to ensure the program can be successful
- Co-ordinating and directing end user input
- Co-ordinating value management strategy
- Controlling changes following approval
- Determining and managing risks to the program
- Managing the programme budget, including risk allowance
- Establishing formal reporting arrangements on program or project progress
- Defining criteria for control and management of the program or project
- Receiving and reviewing detailed reports on the program
- Ensuring the program receives decisions on time
- Establishing a mechanism to ensure regular dialogue with the client to promote problem solving, team working and risk sharing
**What You Will Need**:
- A proven track record leading similar large transformation projects within the banking industry or other sectors
- Track record of building robust relationships and ability to understand key issues and provide guidance and direction.
- Experience with risk assessment and management principles and processes
- To be a strong networker with superior negotiation Influencing skills
- Proven ability to broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the program
- Strong awareness of the broader perspective and how it affects the programme
- A bachelors degree in Business Administration or Law or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
