Our Senior Leadership Team at SkyCity Hamilton are seeking a Security & safety Manager to come and join us. Heading up our Security Team, you'll be responsible for managing the security and safety of SkyCity Hamilton and supporting SkyCity Entertainment Group colleagues to implement compliance functions, including risk, emergency preparedness, AML and Host Responsibility at SkyCity Hamilton.

**About you**:
Driven to ensure high-quality security and safety services to protect company assets, customers and employees - you'll be ready to take the next step in your Senior Security Management career; taking full ownership of SkyCity Hamilton's security and safety processes and programmes.

Accustomed to leading a culturally diverse large team, you'll be passionate about coaching and developing others and fostering a strong positive team culture.

You'll be focused on achieving results, while having the ability to develop strong working relationships quickly throughout the business as well as with external agencies including the Police and Department of Internal Affairs.

**You'll bring**:

- Upwards of 5 years' proven security management experience, preferably in a highly regulated and complex organisation
- Experience and knowledge of investigations and emergency response planning and implementation
- Demonstrated people leadership in implementing and supporting a positive risk and compliance culture and business vision by engaging and developing others
- Proven ability to maintain and build strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders

**The 'must haves'**:
Your written and spoken English language communication will need to be top notch. You will need to hold, or be able to obtain, a Certificate of Approval from the DIA which involves a Criminal History check.
