This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional to join one of the premium South Island employers.

**_The role/Te mahi_**

As the Staff Club Café Duty Manager, you will report directly to the Food and Beverage Supervisor and oversee a diverse hospitality operation.

Key elements of the role include:

- Leadership management of the Staff Club Café & Events team.
- Proactively engaging with University Departments to build strong relationships and create new business opportunities.
- Ensuring that all Hospitality Services exceed the expectations of our clients.
- Building, developing and be part of a highly motivated high performing hospitality team.
- Ensuring that all aspects of our services embrace and implement the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the University’s Māori and Pacific Strategic Frameworks.

This position will suit a person with hospitality management experience. You will have demonstrated leadership qualities and significant experience in similar positions.

Excellent people and relationship management skills are an absolute must.

This is a full time, permanent position with weekend and evening work sometimes required.
