**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role**

In this role you will be our expert on evidence and provide the strategic direction for data management and workforce insights. This includes maintaining the integrity of workforce data; innovation in workforce analysis and insights; delivering engaging workforce reports and providing advice on digital opportunities.

As part of the Workforce Capability team, you will be integral to the design of workforce initiatives, model workforce scenarios and monitor strategic workforce outcomes. You will be a key person supporting our Payroll and People Operations and Finance teams. You will also provide coaching and oversight to the work of our Workforce Analyst (currently being recruited). We already have strong data management and reporting practices in place and this role is the opportunity to take us from good to great.

This role also provides data reporting services to other agencies as part of the Central Agencies Shared Services agreement.

You are a deep expert in workforce analytics with excellent skills in analysing and presenting data. You will have a strategic mindset, able to connect and make sense of disparate pieces of information. As a clear communicator you will articulate workforce insights and how these support our organisations strategic intentions, through both written and verbal communication.
