The hours and days for this Longlife Manager position are Tuesday to Saturday 0600 - 1530.

At Countdown no two days are the same but in this role overseeing all facets of the Longlife department, you could expect to:

- Motivate, manage and guide the Longlife, Perishables and Nightfill teams
- Train and develop team members in your Department
- Sales planning, rostering, ordering of stock, maintaining merchandise standards and implement promotional planning
- Champion Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors
- Ensure a proactive approach to all compliance requirements, keeping these records up to date and adhered to
- Ensure the store is at peak capacity for daily trading

In our next Longlife Manager we are looking for:

- Demonstrated knowledge and success in a retail environment
- A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
- Previous experience with ordering, stocktake, rostering and budgets
- Previous people leadership experience in a retail environment
- The ability to obtain a first aid, general managers and food safety certificate as well as a forklift licence and LQC
