As a Senior Developer / Kaiwhakawhanake Mātāmua you will build, develop, enhance, maintain, and support software that delivers value for Z while working in a cohesive and knowledgeable team there to support and learn from each other.

We are excited to welcome a Senior Developer / Kaiwhakawhanake Mātāmua to join the Z whānau. In this role you will need strong technical skills with a passion for creating fit for purpose solutions. The role is hands on and provide the opportunity to participate in various Communities of Practice activities, provide thought leadership as well as mentor more junior developers.

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Create and contribute to sound detailed solution designs
- Lead work items and components and delivery of work into production within an Agile framework
- Provide technical expertise within the development team
- Work with lead developers and our security team to ensure alignment
- Contribute to the development of standards and best practices as well as contribute to using DevSecOps practices and tooling
- Keep current with technology and industry changes and contribute to discussion to improve existing solutions
- Take ownership of the work from problem to solution
- Assist the lead developers in mentoring and coaching junior team members

**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- Relevant industry experience in a software development role
- Experience with.NET, C#, and Azure related work
- The ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and problem solving and to manage multiple priorities
- Good communication and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to build trust and communicate to technical and non-technical employees
- Self-motivation, a positive attitude and a bias towards action

The base salary range for this role is $128,000 to $134,000 annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross
