- Whether our customers are just starting out or have been in the business sector for years, our customer-first approach helps protect their businesses with confidence.- Let’s create a brighter future together, let’s make a difference- An Underwriting Financial Lines role is accountable for Profitable underwriting of Financial Lines business (Directors & Officers Liability, FI Professional Indemnity, Crime and Employment Practices Liability in New Zealand to deliver the financial objectives of the Financial Lines team as well as the overall objectives of GC/GI.- In your role, you will be part of a team uses specialised knowledge and expertise in products and industry to underwrite and analyse new and renewal business within delegated authority levels.- Important to your success - let's grow together- Bachelor degree or appropriate equivalent qualification (Financial markets, Economics, Financial management) (preferred)
- ANZII (Snr Assoc) - ANZIIF (Fellow) Qualification or equivalent experience.
- Typically has at least 2 years underwriting experience in either case-written Financial Lines Underwriting - or Financial Lines Broking
- Sound working knowledge of NZ General Insurance Underwriting & Reinsurance & Regulations governing the General Insurance industry.
- Proven technical understanding and portfolio management ability.
