We are currently seeking an experienced **2IC Farm Manager to join our team located in Warrnambool, Victoria**, **Australia.** This position will involve managing farm activities, livestock, and pasture management while ensuring high standards of animal welfare, machinery upkeep, and operational efficiency. You will play a critical role in monitoring and reporting on farm operations while working closely with the farm manager.

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist the Farm Manager in overseeing farm operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning
- Display excellent pasture knowledge and implement effective grazing management practices to optimize pasture and feed quality
- Manage and monitor the feeding, health, and general care of livestock
- Maintain and monitor electronic dairy systems, ensuring accurate data management and system functionality
- Collaborate with the Farm Manager to monitor progress, provide updates, and communicate any operational concerns
- Perform routine farm maintenance and adhere to machinery upkeep schedules to ensure all equipment is running efficiently
- Be part of a team environment and contribute to a positive & productive workplace
- Participate in both on-site and off-site training to enhance your skills and industry knowledge

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCES**:

- Previous farm management or relevant farming experience is recommended
- Strong understanding of pasture management, grazing techniques, and livestock care
- Solid understanding of electronic dairy systems and data management
- Good knowledge of farm machinery and maintenance schedules
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Ability to communicate effectively and take initiative
- A strong passion for farming and working outdoors
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work a split-shift roster
