**Bakery 2IC-New World Papatoetoe**

**Join our team and help lead a high-performing bakery department**

New World Papatoetoe is looking for an experienced **Bakery 2IC** to support our Bakery Manager in delivering excellent product quality, strong financial results, and outstanding customer satisfaction.

This role requires hands-on bakery experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage daily production while maintaining high operational standards.

**About the Role**

As our Bakery 2IC, you will:

- Oversee daily production, including dough preparation and cake making
- Lead and motivate a high-performing bakery team
- Ensure full compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
- Manage stock integrity, purchasing, stock rotation, and goods receipting
- Deliver on sales targets, GP%, waste control, and KPI expectations
- Maintain strong merchandising standards and product presentation
- Complete SAP-related processes and tasks

**About You**

We are looking for someone who has:

- Previous bakery management or leadership experience in a supermarket or commercial bakery
- A strong understanding of bakery production processes and bakery financials
- Excellent communication and people leadership skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
- SAP and Foodstuffs systems knowledge (essential)
