position)
This is a great opportunity to join our Radiology
department here at Wairau Hospital in Blenheim where we offer

**a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including**: General
Radiography, CT Scanning, Ultrasound and Mammography. Shifts will be rostered and
rotating Monday to Sunday with on call.
You will manage the daily activities of general
radiographic imaging, theatres and mobiles, and provide a safe and efficient
radiology service.
The salary range for this full-time position is $99,830 - $103,829 based on the current NZ APEX MECA, dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

We are looking for a leader who has a positive and

- Driving the focus of our X-ray team.
- The training and supervision of students & staff development

and training. You will have current registration with the NZMRT
Board and hold a current APC. You will be the type of person who leads by
example and is held in high regard by your peers.
- Advanced knowledge of diagnostic radiography, including mobiles and

theatre work.
- Advanced knowledge of Digital Imaging equipment and processes.
- Good understanding of workflows, with an active interest in quality
improvement.
- The ability to problem solve and address, or assess technical
issue.
- Great communication skills and empathy.
- The passion to deliver high-quality healthcare.
- Proven ability to lead a team and create effective working
relationships.
- The flexibility to work a rotating roster with on call. Preferred, but not essential:

- Postgraduate qualification with a general radiology or DR focus.
