Mitre 10 Mega Taupo is a dynamic and growing company, with plans to expand our retail space in 2025/26 We are looking for a skilled and motivated Team Leader for our busy Hardware Department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage stock, displays, point-of-sale, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the department
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to improve their skills and product knowledge.
- Manage a busy and varied workload, prioritizing tasks effectively and making timely decisions.
- Be physically fit as there will be prolonged walking and standing on concrete floors, manual handling and lifting
- Monitor inventory levels, make inquiries and adjust stock as necessary using computer systems
- Provide guidance and innovative solutions for any operational or customer service issues that arise
- Maintain a safe and respectful work environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations

This will be a busy role, and no two days will be the same. You will need to be adaptable, customer obsessed, collaborative, positive and passionate about maintaining a safe working environment. It is a full time role and will include one weekend day.
