Customer Experience Liaison

Our Engagement Team are looking for a Customer Experience Liaison to partner with Te Pūkenga NMIT's community and learner stakeholders, as they navigate our educational services or journey from attraction through to enrolment, ensuring their experience meets their needs. As a first point of contact, you will support the Engagement Manager and our Curriculum Area Managers to implement plans and strategies that align skills and training needs with the needs of Te Tauihu.
Focused on building relationships and networks both internally and externally, you will be a confident communicator with a high level of administration skills, able to engage and advocate with a wide range of people, work collaboratively to grow relationships and networks, and comfortable articulating the key benefits of partnering with Te Pūkenga NMIT.
The key responsibilities for the role are:
- Strengthen the connection between Stakeholders, the Community, and the Institute,
- Provide guidance to current and prospective ākonga with enrolment questions, programme, course or degree information, entry regulations or selection processes, campus tours, studylink and funding information such as youth guarantee or fees free, internships, scholarships and plan your degree
- Assist with NMIT events, such as Information Evenings, Taster Days, Degree Evenings and Graduation, by providing presence at events as required.
- Manage sponsorship requests and processes, liaising with relevant curriculum areas to ensure successful engagement
- Meeting the needs of internal and external stakeholders, establishing and maintaining effective, positive working relationships through trust, sound knowledge and advice, and collaboration.

To be successful in this role you will need:
Essential (one of these options):
- 10+ years' relevant experience in Marketing, service relationship management or related roles **OR**:
- Relevant National Certificate Level 4 or 5 with 8+ years' relevant experience in Marketing, service relationship management or related roles **OR**:
- Relevant National Diploma Level 5 or National Certificate Level 6 with 7+ years' relevant experience in Marketing, service relationship management or related field **OR**:
- Relevant tertiary degree qualification with 4+ years' relevant experience in Marketing, business, or service-related field **WITH**:
- Demonstrated experience in engagement, advocacy and networking.
In addition you will have:
- Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to work independently, display initiative and solutions based thinking.
- Work well as part of a team.
- A sound understanding of the current challenges within the tertiary sector.
- Full, clean drivers license.
