- Full-time, Permanent contract with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed per we ek.
We are currently seeking to employ **a Technical Coordinator** for our **Distribution Asset Replacement** team based in Albany, Auckland. In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day organisation of assigned technical field staff, with a focus on customer satisfaction, project delivery, and staff coordination on site. You will ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to an appropriate quality standard to achieve planned profit or better as per job bid targets.

- ** **Planning work and interfacing with Contract Manager, Design staff, Customers and Technical team.
- Assessing, developing, and implementing the most cost-effective and efficient methodology and procedures to comply with the contract's minimum requirements without compromising safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Scheduling resources for technical project work in conjunction with Contract Manager.
- Coordinating assigned technical staff and providing assistance and guidance as required to maintain excellence in productivity and industrial relations.
- Assessing project risks to prevent inadvertent power outages and equipment damage to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist the Contract Manager in developing inspection and test plans, job packs, and commissioning documentation specific to customer requirements.
- Assisting Contract Manager on progress claims, cost of scope changes and technical reporting.
- Recovering costs on a weekly/monthly basis for job-specific plant and equipment.
**Qualifications and Skills**
To be considered, you will have some or all of the following:
- A trade qualification in Distribution is essential
- A live line qualification and/or tertiary qualification at a polytechnic is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in distribution network installation and maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements regarding the execution of all prescribed electrical work.
- Sound computer skills
