- Our Whangarei Contracting team is on the hunt for qualified Line Mechanics to join them and ensure the construction and maintenance of electrical lines to customer and Network requirements are met in a timely, appropriate and efficient manner.**The role**
Reporting to the Overhead Supervisor, you will be working within a small team and primarily responsible for operating ground and structure-mounted electrical equipment associated with electric lines up to 33kV. You will also:
- Install and replace the electricity network pole structure and overhead conductors
- Overhaul non-load-bearing pole hardware in electrical networks up to 110kV
- Develop work plans for the construction and servicing of overhead electricity lines and equipment

**About you**
To be considered for this role you’ll need to have:
- Overhead Lines experience
- Valid NZ Drivers Licence
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working as a Line Mechanic
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- A team player and ‘can do’ attitude with strong interpersonal skills working in a multi-cultural environment
