We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who can handle machine, plant and preventive maintenance whilst supporting the production, quality and yard teams.

Having been in operation for over 15 years, our client is a NZ owned and operated business. They have in-house designs for fabricated manholes and structures, suitable for: water storage, wet wells and intake manifolds.

**Daily duties include**:

- Carry out all maintenance on machine and plant in the factory - including routine, preventive and reactive maintenance and inspections
- Attend machine breakdowns and fault find to carry out repairs as necessary, in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
- Carry out risk assessments before commencing work on plant and equipment
- Minimise maintenance expenditure

Our client is seeking someone who is self-motivated and proactive, physically fit and ideally has some electrical ability or certifications.
- Have proven experience in a similar role
- Have strong communication skills and strong good attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and proactive
- Be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
