We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.
We are part of Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service. Te Whatu Ora leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.

**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
Manawanui Oranga Hinengaro - Maori Mental Health Services operating within the Auckland metropolitan area, Te Toka Tumai Auckland’s Mental Health Service for Maori aims to provide a quality mental health service to adult Maori tangata whai i te ora and their whanau.
We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. Our team comprises of both Maori and non-Maori staff, clinicians and cultural/community support workers who share a passion for supporting Maori on their recovery pathway. Manawanui’s commitment to our clients ensures healing in a holistic manner taking into account whanau, cultural, spiritual, physical and mental dimensions in order to achieve the best possible standards of cultural-clinical care.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated clinician to share the clinical leadership. Responsibilities include managing a caseload, supporting the clinical leadership team, ensuring appropriate review of service user care, suitable workload allocation to the MDT and clinical support and guidance to clinicians. Supporting our service to meet key performance objectives is an important part of the role.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
You will need to be clinically experienced with proven leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively at a senior clinical level with service users, colleagues, mental health service providers, government agencies and the community sector. There will be an opportunity to develop your leadership skills through the Te Toka Tumai Auckland Leadership Development Programme.
