- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with a positive, can-do attitude

- A warm and professional telephone manner
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support high-quality service delivery
- A proactive and forward thinker
- Previous administration or shared service experience is preferred
- Full clean class one drivers license

**About our group and team | Matau ropu ake**

At Te Tahuhu o te Matauranga, we provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to akonga/learners and whanau/families.

The Business Support Team is part of Te Mahau | Te Tai Runga (South) a frontline group of staff who work with education providers, children and their families across the Canterbury / Chatham Islands region.

Reporting to the Support Manager, you will be providing support to different teams and functions within the Ministry or collaborating with other team members to deliver shared services. The team plays a vital role in contributing to and achieving the Ministry's overall goals.
