You'll work across squads and platforms to embed best practices, uplift engineering capability, and ensure our data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise risk and compliance expectations. You'll be hands-on with modern data technologies (Snowflake, dbt, Python, CI/CD, Azure), and work closely with engineers, architects, and security consultants to influence design decisions and drive adoption of robust engineering patterns. What you'll do: - Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-quality data solutions. - Coach and mentor engineers across the Data & Analytics Platform and wider organisation. - Champion engineering excellence, automation, and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business needs. - Contribute to the evolution of our data engineering standards and guardrails.
