Our Laboratory has permanent full time opportunities available within the Sample Reception team based in Hamilton. We are looking for people who maintain a high level of integrity in their work, and enjoy developing their technical skills.

As a Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out laboratory administration activities to ensure efficient ongoing delivery of a quality analytical service to our clients.

These are full time roles working 40 hours per week, including Saturdays.

**KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Data entry
- Conducting lab administration duties to ensure efficient ongoing delivery of a quality analytical service to our clients
- Working closely with the extended team throughout Hill Laboratories
- Supporting our clients’ needs
- Some lifting will be required

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous administration experience in a laboratory (advantageous)
- Effective team player with excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail, very accurate and tidy in your work
- Effective and proven customer service
- Excellent computer skills
- Be able to develop new ideas and provide a solution to problems.
- Self-motivated with an ability to use initiative and go the extra mile
- Adaptable to work both individually and within a team, and be able to work effectively without direct supervision
