**_Palfinger - world leader in truck mounted cranes _**is currently seeking a talented Workshop Manager with a background and certification in Automotive Heavy Engineering and 5+ years' experience in truck mounted cranes or heavy transport, to lead our busy workshop based in Wiri.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a team of 6 technicians, along with the following responsibilities including but not limited to
- Implement strategies to grow our service department and the overall business
- Manage Work in Progress (WIP) levels and ensure workmanship is at a high level
- Ensure margins for branch service and repairs meet or exceed budget
- Ensure a no compromise Health & Safety compliance culture
- Ensuring a quality service is provided to the customers
- Enhancing Employee Experience through communication, coaching and career development

This role will suit a skilled leader and exceptional organiser, planner, and facilitator with sound financial acumen. Ideally you will have a proven track record dealing with the service side of the business including staff management. Excellent decision making and prioritising skills are essential as is a background in heavy automotive engineering.
