We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Foreperson to take the reigns and lead a crew within our growing team in Napier. Overseeing network maintenance works you will guide your team to ensure works are completed to the satisfaction of our stakeholders and that all targets (productivity, quality, and safety) are met. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills across all the crews and play an integral part in the ongoing success of the Ahuriri Alliance.

**About you**:

- Must hold a current Class 1 License, Class 2 would be preferable but not essential
- WTR, Diggers and Rollers experience
- Previous experience in a similar position within the civil construction industry
- Team leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor a team with a “continual improvement” philosophy
- Knowledge of and experience in civil construction specifications and procedures
- A flexible work approach to deal with unexpected events/make decisions and provide direction to work teams, as no two days are the same
- Strong safety and quality focus
