This role is within our Garden Department so previous Garden experience and knowledge is essential.

Kiwis love to garden, and we love to assist them with their gardening needs. We are looking for experienced retail sales professionals with green fingers and a customer-focused attitude. Your gardening passion may come from time in your own back-yard or you may have undertaken horticultural training - either way you will enjoy helping our customers select the right plants, along with all the dry goods and hardware, whether it’s fertilizers and pest control or gardening gloves and a wheel barrow.

For this position we are looking for someone who has:

- Enthusiasm and team spirit;
- A passion for customer service excellence;
- Good time management;
- A quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and be flexible
- Willingness to learn; and
- Excellent communication skills.

Previous retail experience and/or experience within this department will be viewed very favourably.

In this role you will report to the Garden Manager.

This is a full time position with hours that span across Sunday to Thursday, so weekend availability and commitment is essential.
