**What will you be doing?**

Reporting to our Architecture Team Lead, you will deliver effective digital architectural solutions that enable beautiful and rewarding customer experiences and align with Tower's Architecture Principles and Roadmap.

As a Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to design and implement scalable and secure solutions that align with our strategic goals. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our technology landscape remains ahead of the curve.

You can expect to be across the following:

- Maximise the number of common architectural components used in new and enhanced solutions, including but not limited to Micro Frontends, Microservices, and Generative AI based User Experiences
- Define and document high-level technology directions, aligned to business strategy and Tower's overall enterprise architecture, with the aim of ensuring that Tower is seen as a leader in the technology arena.
- Develop and drive the architecture framework and objectives ensuring all deliverables conform to these objectives and framework.
- Ensure that the architectural principles and Roadmaps are recognized as the foundation of all systems and technical solutions.

***What you'll need**

To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with Azure, Agile Software, Identity Management, CI/CD, Micro Frontends, Microservices, Serverless Platforms. You will be a strong influencer working closely with external vendors or internal development squads. You'll work on day-to-day project delivery using Agile methodology and grow the team's capability at the same time, providing regular updates to the company on any developments in systems architecture projects.

**To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following**:

- At least 5 years' experience as a Solutions Architect or 2 years with 3+ years as a Technical Lead or Lead Engineer
- A demonstratable history in delivery of innovative, technical solutions to consumer markets
- An understanding of the financial services industry particularly general insurance
- Experience of systems design, development, and implementation across several technology platforms with special focus on Web based environments
- A broad understanding of the latest developments in technologies, industry specific issues, competitor and vendor activity and initiatives
- Understanding and knowledge of the principles of information and enterprise architecture would also be an advantage
- Tertiary qualifications are desirable coupled with up to date understanding of developments in the IT industry.
