**All about the position**:
We’re looking for a friendly and knowledgeable **Paint Team Member** to join us on a **full-time (40 hours per week),**fixed-term (until January 2026) basis** while one of our team members is on parental leave. If you enjoy helping customers, have an interest in paint and DIY, and thrive in a retail environment, this could be the perfect role for you

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Assisting customers with paint, stains, and coatings—helping them find the right colours and finishes for their projects.
- Tinting paint and mixing colours to match customer preferences.
- Keeping the paint department well-stocked and looking great.
- Working as part of a supportive team to deliver excellent customer service.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience or interest in paint, decorating, or DIY (retail experience a bonus).
- A customer-focused approach with great communication skills.
- The ability to lift paint tins and manage physical tasks.
- Availability to work a flexible roster that will definitely include at least one weekend day.
- You would be a local West Auckland resident likely residing in one of the following areas: New Lynn, Avondale, Blockhouse Bay, Glen Eden, Green Bay, Kelston, Titirangi, New Windsor, Henderson, Massey, Te Atatū Peninsula, Te Atatū South, Glendene, Sunnyvale, Oratia, Mount Roskill, Mount Albert.
