Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical

Our Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central team in Auckland has an opening for a highly competent Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Developer (Technical Consultant) who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be joining one of the most experienced Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central implementation teams in New Zealand who manage many interesting and challenging projects.
This is also a customer facing role, and you must be able to demonstrate thorough technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
The salary range for this specific position is $90,000 - $115,000 per annum. Your minimum hours of work shall be 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. You may also be required to perform such overtime as may be reasonably required by Theta in order for you to properly perform your duties.

**You will have**:

- A minimum of five years of experience in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central product solutions set, including functionality and customisation/development in C/AL and AL
- Experience analysing, specifying, designing, configuring, developing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central software and components in all functional areas
- Solid C/AL and AL skills and experience with automated testing
- Knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps and Power Automate are preferred
- Experience with ISV solutions from Anveo, Tasklet Factory and Continia are preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of the full SDLC is required
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team players who are highly customer focused
- Proven experience with the delivery of high quality solutions according to set time-lines and budgets are essential

**Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to**:

- Managing customer enquiries regarding Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, providing solutions and supporting them in making decisions.
- Taking responsibility for the analysis, specification, design, development and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions for Theta’s customers to industry standards that meet agreed business requirements within timescale and estimates
- Analysing customer needs, preparing demo databases and presenting to customers.
- Developing and delivering user training sessions and providing support to Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central users.
- Specifying, developing and documenting customisations.
- Helping set the technology direction to shape the future of the business.
- Building the Practice capability by improving internal systems.
