We are currently looking for a permanent, part-time (0.5 FTE) Administration Officer to join our Psychological Services team based in Dunedin.
Mō te tūnga | About the role
In this busy and varied role, you will provide a range of administrative services primarily to the Executive Officer; however, you will also be responsive to the wider team of Psychologists and team Manager.
Your key tasks will include;
- Assisting with file management systems
- Organising staff travel and accommodation
- Coordinating meetings and minute-taking
- Ordering supplies, printing, managing and compiling records
- Managing referral processes and making up files
- Maintaining and checking registers
- Overseeing office processes
- General office duties
You will enjoy working collaboratively as one team in a challenging and fast paced environment. To be effective in this role you will be able to multitask, remain adaptable, follow and adhere to strict policies and procedures, and have sound judgement in prioritising tasks and activities to meet deadlines.
The salary range for this role is $46,429 - $55,203 per annum, which is pro-rated to 20 hours per week. Progression is dependent on meeting required competency levels.
The preferred hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm. However, there is some flexibility in this area and working hours can be negotiated.

**You will have demonstrated**:
- Knowledge of administrative systems, processes and technology combined with experience in providing administrative support to a team
- A personable yet professional communication style - both verbal and written
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to organise effectively, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Resilience and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Sound computer skills and experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to work autonomously and in a team environment, with the ability to develop, foster and maintain positive working relationships
Please note you will also need a full New Zealand driver licence for this role.
