**Work Location**
Auckland Region
Permanent Positions, Full-time (guaranteed 30 hours/per week)

**Duties & responsibilities**
- Studying plans and drawings to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures
- Planning ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts
- Measuring and cutting materials to the right size and shape
Cutting and shaping wood parts for installation
- Removing and repairing existing fittings
- Reading of blueprints or detailed instructions to complete the layout for a project
- Taking measurements and calculating size and number of materials needed, accuracy in measuring, cutting work
according to job specs
- Responsible fortimber floor, vanity, cabinet installation, etc.
- Keeping the work area clean and well organized
- Operating various types of woodworking machines and electrical hand tools.
- Taking to all health and safety precautions
- Completing all structures to the highest quality workmanship
- Working closely with other project members to ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
- Other duties as assigned
- At least 1-3 years work experience in relevant industry
- Logical and clear thinker
- Basic maths and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of competency in measuring, cutting and installing frames and structures
- Expertise in measuring and cutting wood and other materials such as plastic, fiberglass, and aluminium
- Proficiency in using tools and instruments
