** Mō te tūranga nei | About the Job**

We are looking for an experienced **Bookings Coordinator** to join our clinical operations team and support us to deliver a seamless experience for patients undergoing surgery at Allevia Hospitals.
Based at Allevia Hospital in **Epsom**, this is a permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) position, with 8 hour shifts rostered between the hours of 6:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.

** Key functions of this role are to**
- liaise with surgeons and their secretaries to manage surgical operating lists
- facilitate patient bookings according to surgeon lists & theatre availability
- identify, communicate and assist with patient's special requirements & needs
- obtain and collate relevant patient information required for their surgery

** Ngā kōrero mōu | About you**
- previous experience in clinical bookings in a surgical hospital environment
- experience with electronic medical records, ideally TrakCare
- excellent computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in a professional but friendly manner
- keen attention to detail, high level of accuracy and great organisational skills
