Pizza Hut Operations Systems Specialist

The role of the Pizza Hut Operations Systems Specialist is to pursue and deliver operational excellence across the Pizza Hut brand, through implementing and refining standards, processes and procedures defined by Restaurant Brands and Yum Brands Inc. Specifically, you would be working with the wider Pizza Hut Franchising team and Customer Support Centre to improve capability through best-practice routines, systems and operations, with a focus on incoming, new, and underperforming Franchisees.

**What the role involves**

Accountable for Food Safety Standards:

- Embed and improve Food Safety routines throughout the brand.
- Review and improve end to end ingredient and product handling.
- Coach incoming and underperforming Franchisees to meet Food safety standards.
- Audit preparation, re-audit coaching and closing out action points.

Accountable for Brand Standards:

- Constantly reviews and improves fundamentals of Brand Standards, including (But not limited to):

- Dough production and handling
- Specialty base production and handling
- Make table set up and preparation
- Oven calibration
- Cut table speed and accuracy

Accountable for Operational Excellence:

- Establish and maintain core administrative processes and systems, including recommending and implementing changes to improve productivity and efficiencies to improve customer metrics.
- Support Operations team with executing and rolling out Speed & Taste Workshops
- Collaborates with Delivery team to improve delivery metrics and increase capacity
- Experience managing and leading a team and developing an effective team culture

Supports Training:

- New store opening training for Franchisees & teams on ALL Pizza Hut Systems.
- Supports new starter/new owner GEM, SMG and Hut University capability.
- Train the trainer activity.

Supports QA:

- Coaches new and underperforming stores and franchisees on food safety and QA processes.

Supports New Product Testing and Launch activity:

- Reviews new product ideas from an operational perspective
- Provides guidance and feedback to ensure new products.
- Provides support for product testing and research.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- 3+ years above-store level experience in QSR.
- Experience with food delivery fleet management.
- Relevant Degree, Certificate or Diploma (e.g. Business Qualification)
- Customer facing experience (store or field) in an FMCG, Retail or QSR environment.
- A current NZ drivers licence is essential for the role as travel to different stores is required
- High level communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organization / time management skills.
- High level of computer literacy, especially MS Suite and Outlook
- Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to motivate a team to deliver outstanding performance.
- Experience managing Yum Systems including GEM, SMG, Hutbot, Hut University would be advantageous.
