Store Manager – Pizza Hut Albany

The Role The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of our stores,including the rostering, training, and coaching of team members, deliveringexcellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, creating businessstrategies to attract new customers, preparing detailed sales reports andmonitoring inventory levels on new stock.
This role is ideal for a passionate,hard-working individual, with a commitment to high standards and an interest inlearning and developing their skills in our organisation.
Ideal candidates should have at least one year of relevant work experience inthe fast-food industry or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and/or a relevantqualification at level of level 4 and above.
This is a full-time permanent positioncurrently located at our Albany Pizza Hut store.
Minimum working hours of 40per week.
Wage rate will range between $30 to $35 per hour depending on priorexperience and/or qualification.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily store operations to ensure efficientservice delivery. Develop and implement effective customer service procedures andstandards. Monitor staff performance and provide training and support to ensureservice excellence. Manage rostering, labour costs, and staff scheduling to maintainproductivity. Oversee inventory control, stock ordering, and supplier coordination. Handle and resolve customer complaints and feedback promptly andprofessionally. Maintain compliance with company policies, brand standards, and New Zealand food safety and hygiene regulations. Monitor store sales performance, prepare reports, and support budgetingand cost control activities. Ensure store cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation meet requiredstandards.
 Support marketing, local promotions, and community engagementactivities. Recruit, train, and supervise team members to build a strong andmotivated workforce. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency andcustomer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience Required: Experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably in the quick-service restaurant, retail outlets or hospitality industry. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Proven ability to manage staff, inventory, and store operations effectively. Sound knowledge of food safety, health, and hygiene compliancestandards. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
