Southern Institute of Technology is looking to fill the above permanent full-time vacancy within our facilities Department. To succeed in this position, you will need to show flexibility and adaptability, hold a current NZ drivers’ licence, be dependable and trustworthy and have had 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Holding a forklift driver’s licence would be advantageous. Police Vetting will be a requirement.

While the key feature of the role is inwards and outwards goods and storeroom control, ideally you will be able to turn your hand to a myriad of tasks from setting up classrooms, cleaning windows, mowing lawns, to undertaking minor maintenance at our various sites, working with marketing team on education expo. You will have the ability to prioritise, communicate efficiently and be able to work cooperatively and effectively across the organisation.

SIT will require the successful applicant to provide proof of full COVID vaccination prior to commencement of employment.
