New Zealand Independent Line Services Full time

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Civils Supervisor to join our Civils team at Independent Line Services to lead our crews on various projects around Christchurch and the Canterbury region. As Supervisor, you will assist the Project Managers in ensuring that all crew members are safely, effectively and efficiently completing their work in line with client specification.

You must be a strong leader with excellent critical thinking skills, as you will be a key point of contact for the crew and will report back to the Project Managers on all operational activities. A focus on health and safety is imperative to this role, as you must assist in driving a strong safety culture in all day-to-day operations.

**Supervisor responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Liaising with our Project Managers for project planning and pre-commencement documentation
- Maintaining OH&S standards and documentation
- Managing on-site work scheduling and logistics
- Carrying out site establishment and setting-out
- Undertaking Civils work

**Our ideal applicants will have the following skills and experience**:

- Minimum Class 2 license
- Relevant industry experience in civils
- Proven experience leading crews on site
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- Be a team player
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead by example
