**Position: Baker**

Job duties:

- Weigh out precise amount of baking ingredients using scales or graduated containers
- Assess the quality of raw materials before baking to ensure conformance to set standards
- Uniformly mix ingredients using automated equipment such as blenders and mixers
- Knead dough manually or with the aid of a kneading machine, mature, cut, mix and shape dough
- Prepare pastry fillings
- Establish production schedule and set quota for the number of goods to be produced on daily basis
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work area in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Conduct research to develop original recipes for baked products
- Ensure proper storage of baking utensils and supplies
- Oversee the routine maintenance of baking equipment to ensure efficient operations
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies before they are used up
- Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets before depositing in ovens for baking.
- Adjust thermostatic controls to regulate temperature of oven
- Clean baking trays and equipment
- Any other duties the employer reasonably may require employee to perform

Pay rate: minimum $31.00/ hour - maximum $32.00/ hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week: minimum 30 hours

Requirements for the job:
At least 6 months of relevant work experience is required AND

Bachelor’s degree in any fields or above

Be physically fit

Full time availability, always available on weekends and public holidays

Able to start early in the morning and finish until late

Able to do both of morning and evening shifts across a 7 days roster

Able to follow flexible weekly timetable

Good skill in making Hue cakes, Hue royal cakes, Hue’s traditional cake

Knowledge of Vietnam culture would be an advantage

Skill in making Hue cuisine would be an advantage

Skill in making European cuisine would be an advantage

Good skill in making Birthday cake and savory pastry

No criminal record
