**Store Manage**r

Our Food Hut outlet in Otahuhu, Auckland is presently looking for staff. We require two (2) Store Managers to join the team.

This business is open 7 days a week and the role requires working a variable roster, including night and weekend work.

**About the role - Store Manager**
As the Store Manager, you will supervise the operational and organizational standards of the outlet. The job involves having the capability to work with and lead a diverse team on a variety of tasks throughout the day.

**Your duties will include but not limited to**:

- Plan and manage day-to-day operational aspects of the business as per set standards.
- Ensure the shop presentation is consistently of the highest standard and complies with all the relevant requirements.
- Manage staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
- Maintain stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
- Implement purchasing policies and responsible for all ordering and dealing with suppliers.
- Take marketing and promotional initiatives, deliver innovative merchandise display and store presentation.
- Maintain records of finances, invoices, stock take, rosters and incidents.
- Undertake budgeting and reviewing the expenses of the store.
- Cash handling and summarizing the daily sales at the end of each working shift.
- Ensure compliance of health and safety regulations.

**Qualification, Experience and Personal attributes required**
- Level 2 or 3 qualification.
- 2 - 3 years experience in retail, hospitality or any related industry is preferred.
- Friendly, Passionate, People-Person.

- Strong leadership and a positive influencer.

**Pay &Benefits**
- Hourly rate ranges between $29.66 and $35 for full-time, permanent roles with a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed.

**Food Preparation Assistant**

An opportunity has arisen for four (4) energetic and friendly people to join our Food Hut team in Auckland as Food Preparation Assistants.

The role is permanent full-time (30 - 40 hours) with a pay of $25 to $30 per hour.

**About the role - Food Preparation Assistant**
As part of this role, the Food Preparation Assistant will assist with food preparation and other kitchen tasks to support the Cooks maintain an effective and efficient operation of the kitchen.

**The key responsibilities include:

- Preparing and packaging food at display under supervision.
- Assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.
- Cleaning food storage utensils.
- Such other duties as assigned from time to time.

**Experience and Attributes Required**
- No prior experience nor qualification is required but it would be an advantage if you have some exposure to cooking or serving and food handling in the hospitality industry.
- Must be willing to work in split shifts, on weekends/public holidays as well.

**Fast Food Cook**

We are looking for five (5) Fast Food Cooks to join our team on a full-time basis at our Food Hut outlet in Auckland.

**About the role - Fast Food Cook**
As part of this role, the Fast Food Cook will provide outstanding service to customers in our fast food store by ensuring all food preparation and cooking, as well as stock levels are maintained so our customers continue to receive the high standard they have come to expect. At our outlet, we are seeking fast learners, hard workers, energetic, flexible and adaptable people to join our kitchen and develop quickly in the role.

**You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards, but not limited to**:

- Taking and serving food and beverage orders and receiving payment from customers.
- Prepare, wash, cut, measure and mix food to be cooked.
- Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves, deep dough roller, and deep fryers.
- Prepare and cook food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal di verify the quality and quantity of all orders.
- Multitask by cooking several different orders at once, ensuring that all items are prepared according to customer instructions.
