**Mō te tūnga - About the Role**

Our Food Services team at Christchurch Hospital is looking for Kitchen Supervisors who can run a large-scale operation and are passionate about building our capability.

We produce approximately 2000 patient meals every day so we - re looking for people who thrive under pressure, can keep track of multiple work streams, enjoy creating a team environment and can collaborate with colleagues to ensure our customers have a great experience.

Shifts available:
**Supervisor A - am**
Sunday - Wednesday, 06:00 - 15:00
34 hours

**Supervisor B - pm**
Sunday - Tuesday, 14:30 - 20:00
Wednesday, 14:00 - 20:00
20.5 hours

**Supervisor C - am**
Wednesday - Saturday, 06:00 - 15:00
34 hours

**Supervisor D - pm**
Wednesday, 14:00 - 20:00
Thursday - Saturday, 14:30 - 20:00
20.5 hours

As an experienced supervisor, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to grow and train staff, and show a strong commitment to the health and safety of the team.

You will thrive in this fast paced, ever changing environment while working towards the main goal of improving the health and wellbeing of the people of the Canterbury region.

Essentials:

- Experience supervising large food service teams
- NZQA recognised Food Safety Qualification
- Confident computer user able to quickly learn new software

Desirable:

- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
- A front-line leadership, management or supervision qualification
- NZQA Assessor certification
