**What's the job?**

InterGroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial services, coatings, and infrastructure. **More about the role**

The main focus of your role will be the removal of marine growth, corrosion and coatings; cleaning surfaces including hull, decks and flight decks; cleaning of pipes, ducting, tubes, engine rooms, boilers, plant etc. - all using abrasive blasting, HP (high pressure up to 4,000psi) and UHP ultra-high pressure water blasting up to 40,000 psi. You will be working 3 weeks on 3 weeks off, working on the Raroa or the Well Head Platform, Maui A & B, doing UHP Blasting, Blasting and Painting on Ropes.

We’re hoping you’ll be a team-player and ready to join our awesome team who look after each other and have each other’s backs. previous experience in marine industry is not a pre-requisite; we are willing to train the right person. This role will require the person to travel offshore and hence a BOSIET license would be ideal, we will support with obtaining this.

**The technical stuff you'll need includes**:

- Minimum 1 year experience using high pressure water blasting, abrasive blasting, and spray-painting equipment to prepare surfaces
- Rope tickets Proven knowledge and training of health and safety in the industrial environment
- A high-level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a confined space from time to time
- Ideally you will have proven experience in a marine environment and working inside and outside of marine vessels.
