**Here’s what you’ll be working on**
Working for a well-known, successful large commercial business in this key regional role, you’ll enjoy building relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across multi sites. Getting out and immersing yourself in the business, you’ll travel weekly around Auckland sites and visit Northland locations from time to time. Together with your direct report, an engaged and motivated People & Performance Advisor, you will have autonomy and accountability in providing HR partnering to your diverse group of employees in branch-based and operational roles.

This is a leadership role for your region, so you’ll create and deliver an HR strategic plan that supports business goals, drives outcomes that improve business performance, lifts employee capability and drives engagement. In order to deliver quality, strategic stakeholder support, you’ll enjoy working with your colleagues in specialist recruitment, learning and OD roles, drawing on their expertise.

**What you’ll bring to the role**
You thrive when partnering with an operational workforce. Happy to roll up your sleeves and get alongside managers, you enjoy helping find positive resolutions to ER and HR issues. Coaching managers to build up their skill set, you love getting your hands dirty and learning the business. You’ll bring a service delivery mindset and value sharing information - key approaches which will help you and the wider HR team continue on a journey of working collaboratively. This is a senior, operational HR generalist role, so you’ll already have proven HR experience across the employee lifecycle gained in an NZ context.
