We are looking for an Intermediate Integration Engineer to join our Integration team here at ANZ Technology. You will play an integral part in maintaining ANZ’s stability and availability of all services managed within the Platform environment. This is a dynamic and varied role within one of New Zealand’s leading corporate environments, which includes working with a diverse range of people and having access to personal and professional development opportunities.

In this role you will have the opportunity to;
Provide technical Middleware administrative support
Contribute to maintaining the Bank's operational infrastructure both at a hardware and software level for the Platform.
Assist in ensuring TSM operationally meets its Business Service Delivery goals
Conduct Openshift BAU tasks, including configuration changes, service deployments, certificate management
Provide Level 2+ production support
Participate in Major Incident management or take lead to proactively prevent outages to systems
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring most of the following;
Change Management and Incident Management
Familiarity with Gateway Script, SOAP Web Services and REST APIs, XML and JSON
Network concepts including use of Load Balancers and troubleshooting connectivity issues
DevOps tooling including Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Artifactory, Bitbucket a plus
Experience with Apache Kafka and Kong platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and capable of effectively interacting with individuals in a broad range of situations.
Ability to articulate and explain information in a confident manner to peers, customers and management, interacting in a range of circumstances using different techniques.
Ability to work autonomously, deliver to sometimes tight timelines and manage and prioritise conflicting demands and priorities.
Ability to listen and understand content, using reinforcement techniques as appropriate

**Technical nice to have**: Shell scripting, Node.js, Cloud computing
